Sanitize, Shock, Prevent Algae
SANITIZE: SUN® stabilized chlorinating products sanitize your pool water and kill bacteria. These products are protected from sunlight degradation and are an ideal means to keep your pool clear and protected from bacteria growth. They are available in a four forms: Large 3" Tablets, Small 1" Tablets, 8 oz. Sticks and Granular. A free chlorine level of 1 – 3 ppm should be maintained in the pool at all times.
BROMINATED SYSTEMS: You may want to use brominating products instead of chlorinating products to sanitize your pool. SUN Brominating Tablets provide a reliable method for killing bacteria. An automatic brominator should be installed in order to utilize brominating tablets effectively. Check with your SUN Dealer for complete information and to see if it fits your needs.
SHOCK: Shocking the pool on a regular basis is an important element in keeping the pool clear. Swimmers and the environment add undesirable compounds to the pool that must be eliminated on a regular basis in order to prevent problems such as algae, cloudy water and odors. SUN offers a variety of products to shock the pool. Your professional SUN Dealer can recommend the SUN product best suited for your shocking needs. An ideal shocking product is SUN Shock ‘N Clear® Multi Purpose Shock. It not only eliminates undesirable compounds but special clarifiers aid in polishing the pool water at the same time. An added plus is that swimmers can return to the water in as soon as 15 minutes. Shock the pool in the evening with the pump running.
SUN Algi-CrushTMis an ideal algaecide because it prevents and kills all types of algae, and can be used in all types of swimming pools.
